Professor, doctoral advisor, winner of the National Youth Talent Overseas Project, winner of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's high-level talent project, "Huali Leading Talent" and "Leader of the Soft Matter Interdisciplinary Research Team" of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications; He graduated from the Liquid Crystal Research Institute of Kent State University in the United States, and has been engaged in the basic research and application development of the structure, physical properties, effects and manipulation of liquid crystal soft materials for a long time; So far, he has published more than 20 papers in Nature Communications and other journals; He has been a reviewer of well-known journals such as Physical Review Letters, Light: Science&Applications for a long time, a young editorial board member of journals such as Liquid Crystal and Display, a lifelong member of the Chinese Physical Society, a senior member of the Chinese Optical Society, a member of the American/British Physical Society, and a member of the American Optical Society.

He received the Ph.D. from the Liquid Crystal Research Institute at Kent State University. Following graduation, he held a postdoctoral position in the research group of Professor Juan de Pablo—member of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine—at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago. His work has long focused on the topological dynamics of liquid crystal microstructures, leading to a series of breakthroughs in both fundamental theory and applied technology. Over the past five years, he have published 11 papers as first author, co-first author, or corresponding author in leading journals including PNAS, Physical Review Letters, and ACS Nano.

He received the B.S. and M.E. degrees in Applied Physics and Optical Engineering from Hefei University of Technology, Anhui, China, in 2015 and 2018, and the Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetic and Microwave Technology from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2022. From January 2022 to July 2022, he was a Research Assistant with the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China.
He has authored over 20 international refereed journal papers, in highly ranked journals, including ACS Photonics, Carbon, Advanced Optical Materials, Nanophotonics, Applied Physics Letters, Optics Express, Optics Letters, etc. His current research interests include nanophotonics, surface plasmons, metamaterials/metasurfaces, 2D materials, liquid crystal optics, etc.

A total of 5 articles have been published in well-known magazines and periodicals, such as ACS nano, ACS Applied Materials&Interfaces, Chemical Communications, Electrocutica Acta, as a single or joint work.

Her research interests focus on biosensing and bioimaging of lyotropic liquid crystals and functional nanomaterial. Currently, she has published more than 10 papers in well-known magazines and periodicals, such as ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Nanoscale, Nano Research.

Graduated from the School of Advanced Soft Materials at South China University of Technology with a PhD in Engineering. Mainly engaged in research on liquid crystal optics, liquid crystal physics, especially the topological physics and electric field control of ferroelectric nematic liquid crystals. In the past five years, a total of four research papers have been published, including co first author (ranked first in both) in Nature Physcis, Published 2 papers in top international academic journals such as Nature Communications.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Bengal, India, in 2019. Following this, he worked at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, for five years. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles in reputed international publications, including Physical Review E, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, Optics Letters, Materials Advances, among others. His current research interests lie in experimental liquid crystal physics, particularly in electro-optic switching, polymer-based systems, and the development of optical sensors and electro-optic devices.

He received both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Physics from Bharathidasan University, followed by a Ph.D. in Science and Humanities from Anna University, all located in Tamil Nadu, India. After completing his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral research at the South China University of Technology (SCUT) in Guangzhou, China. His work focused on the nonlinear optics of ferroelectric nematic liquid crystals, investigating their applications in photonics and optoelectronics. To date, he has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles. Research Interests: Ferroelectric Nematic Liquid Crystals, Chiral Liquid Crystals, Nonlinear Optics, Second Harmonic Generation, THz Organic Crystalline Materials, Density Functional Theory.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where his research focused on the nonlinear optical properties of liquid crystal–gold nanoparticle composites. Which includes enhancing the nonlinear absorption of liquid crystal composites by doping them with plasmonic gold nanoparticles, investigating the underlying plasmonic coupling mechanism, and developing field-tunable materials with controllable optical nonlinearity. His current research interests include topological structures in liquid crystal droplets and the motion of magnetic microparticles in anisotropic fluids. In the past two years, he has published first-author or co-first-author papers in Journal of Nonlinear Optical Physics & Materials, Micromachines, and Nanotechnology.
